Since Schmoo has been on the road, the rebuild has continued. During the summer or 2002 Schmoo got its final colour, Metallic Wedgwood blue and Black roof, and the interior is coming along too.

A trip into a ditch and a couple of spins saw the drums being replaced with 7.5" discs and 4 pot alloy callipers, the distributor started snapping the points so was changed for an Aldon Performance version, the HS4 has been dropped in favour of an HIF44.

The original final drive had to come out, as a 3.77 was just too short for motorway driving, and the opportunity was taken to upgrade to a 3.44 final drive strapped to a Tran-X Cross pin diff.

Schmoo has been seen about the place, and not least at the Mini Showdown in July, where over the years it has improved from a 18 sec 1/4 mile to it's last run in 2007, with a 16.2 and still displays it's class number C13.
